In 1867 the Underwood Family began farming the fertile valleys of Ventura County. Today, Underwood farms more than 900 acres in and around Ventura County. From peppers, to corn, to row crops, blueberries, avocados, and lemons. Two locations in Moorpark and Somis include pick-your-own vegetables and fruits, farm animals, corn maze and wagon rides. A farmhouse and barn complete the pastoral setting
Permits
UNINCORPORATED COUNTY OF VENTURA
The County of Ventura requires all commercial film productions to obtain a Ventura County Film Permit for all filming activities within the unincorporated areas of Ventura County (including private property). Productions must obtain a Film Permit for any filming activities including, but not limited to, feature films, TV series, TV movies, commercials, music videos, still photography, and web productions. Student film productions may be exempt but are required to contact the Film Permit Coordinator regarding their production.
