At the Channel Islands National Park Visitors Center, you can see the skeleton of a pygmy mammoth, a life-sized elephant seal, and learn about the five islands which comprise this national park. A garden with native California fauna is in the front of the center, the 2nd floor has a telescope viewing platform, and the rear has a patio overlooking the boats in the Ventura Harbor. Located near a protected swimming beach.
