About

Located at the center of the Mitchell Block, is one of Ventura's oldest parks. Plaza Park (circa 1874). Once the center of the community, it is still lined with craftsman bungalows and fine examples of Victorian, Queen Anne, Eastlake and Gothic architecture. A Moreton Bay fig tree planted around 1874 is very grand. A Spanish cannon (captured in battle) and a bandstand give this park a typical small town feel.
