Once the social hub of the county, the Olivas Adobe was the home of Don Raymundo Olivas, his wife Tedora and their 21 children. Don Raymundo Olivas was deeded the Rancho San Miguel in 1847. The 160-yr old adobe, built in the Monterey style, features a courtyard, herb garden, rose garden, period furnishings, 110 -yr old fuschia and grounds. The adobe is surrounded by farm land, a mushroom farm, and the Olivas Links golf course.
