Grant Park

This park provides hands down the best view in town. On a clear day you can see the Channel Islands and almost any day you can see the miles of gorgeous beaches that have made Ventura famous. The most striking landmark is an enormous cross that is a replica of one placed during the Mission Era. In later years it also let passing ships know the town's whereabouts. Even though the overgrown brush has made it more difficult to see the cross from below, the view from the top is great!
